What If The Moon Never Comes Back? There will be a lunar eclipse Thursday night, starting around 9 p.m.CDT, with the Moon fully inside the Earth's umbra for about 52 minutes, starting at 10:14 CDT. All of the eastern part of the United States is inside the optimum viewing zone for the eclipse. For a more frightening look at eclipses, check out this Fuzzier Than Normal video clip. The Eclipse movie trailer is about a fourth of the way through, sandwiched between other funny FTN clips (For instance, you'll have to go past "The Credible Hulk" to get to the Eclipse bit).
