How 'Bout Them Apples New iMacs, new iPods. When I bought my iMac, I waited a little while to see if Apple was going to adopt the USB 2 standard, which was becoming increasingly common for PC. When Apple switched from the old legacy ports to USB and Firewire, for a while there it meant that Macs could use a huge percentage of PC peripherals for the first time in history. By the time I bought my iMac, that was rapidly becoming less true. Now, a year and a half later, Apple's finally gotten with the program. On a related note, last Wednesday, Avril Lavigne's "Complicated," was the 10 millionth song downloaded on iTMS.
