In The Beginning... Today marks the 35th anniversary of the first time Man truly ventured away from his home. On December 21, 1968, Commander Frank Borman and astronauts Jim Lovell and Bill Anders lifted off from Cape Canaveral about the Apollo 8 Saturn V to begin the journey which would make them the first humans to visit another world, orbiting the Moon 10 times on Christmas Eve before returning home.
