Head For The Hills! 

MarsAs Spirit is being prepared to drive off of its lander and onto the Martian surface early tomorrow morning, the JPL team has mapped out a plan for the rover's exploration, which would include first visiting a nearby crater, and then heading toward some hills the better part of a mile away. Given the rover specifications, it is unlikely the rover will actually succeed in reaching the hills before its ceases functioning, but it will conduct scientific research while heading in that direction.
